I just want to take a moment to thank everyone for all their support, encouragement, faith and messages of congratulations! We have been receiving non-stop emails, phone calls and messages since last evening and it is wonderful. It feels so incredible to finally be on the other end of these types of congrads. And it means so much to us that we have so many people who are so genuinely happy for us and our new baby.
I want to also apologize if we are not able to get back to everyone who has called/emailed etc. As you can imagine with this happening so quickly, we both have a lot of loose ends to take care of at work and at home to get ready to bring our son home. We hope to leave within the next day or so to go meet him, and we hope he's eating better so that we can bring him home by early next week (maybe even sooner!). Once we get home and get somewhat settled, we would love to have visitors!
We will be using this blog as the main means of communicating any new updates, etc. I wish we could call every single person in our lives but the reality of this sudden parenthood just does not allow that. We hope to be able to see you all soon and introduce you to Alexander Jay Eric!

Sammy is excited to have another friend to play with!!!!
Have a safe trip and make sure to let us know when you are ready for visitors.
:O Still on cloud 9 for you. Ellie was in the NICU for a few days for refusing to eat. Call or email if you want to talk. :)
Enjoy this time, cuz you'll never get it back! This is YOUR moment. We'll be checking for updates and hoping for a speedy homecoming for AJ!
Congratulations! We love you guys!
