You break my heart with tenderness,
And I confess it's true-
I never knew a love like this
til you!

Thanksgiving and more...

This week was full of family, friends and thanksgiving all around! There really is too much to write (and not enough time to do so) so I will just comment on the highlights. First, there was Alex's 1st Thanksgiving. We hosted my family and all went well. Alex was a good boy all day and we can't express how thankful we are to have him! Here's a pic of us and one of AJ with his cousin Aidan. AJ is catching up to his big cousin and soon they will be rolling around together having tons of fun! Then, friends were in town for Thanksgiving so we got to spend some quality time with them. First we got together with the gang from grammar/high school. We took lots of pictures. Here is the most recent one of all of our kids together: We also got together with my friend, Sarah who was in town for the holiday. We spent much of the day together and it was so nice. Soon, she will have a lil bundle of joy and AJ will have another friend! Oh - I almost forgot - earlier last week Charlie Brown's Thanksgiving was on TV. Jay and I decided to watch it and were joking that Alex could see it for the first time, too. Well, to our surprise, he actually watched the whole show! And when I say "watched" I mean he did not take his beautiful blue eyes off of the TV. He was so interested in it, it was just too funny! Finally, AJ reached another milestone today. He came VERY close yesterday, but every time we got the camera out, he'd stop. Then today we were more patient, and he was more focussed, and he did it - he rolled over! From his belly to his back. We even got it on video! Needless to say, we are very proud parents!

I had BIG plans to list the 10 things I am thankful for, but I will just narrow it down to the top 5:
1 - family - including a wonderful husband and a very cute doggie
2 - friends
3 - health
4 - K - for giving us the best gift ever
5 - and of course - ALEXANDER JAY ERIC! - our pride and joy!

Today Alex is 20 weeks old and cuter than ever!
