17 weeks old

I took advantage of the nice weather on Friday and raked some leaves. I brought AJ outside with me and he enjoyed being outside. He slept most of the time with Buddy, his protector, right next to him the whole time.











Jason's dad came to town to visit for the first time since him and Patty moved to Florida. We got to hang out with him a lot and celebrate his birthday. I think he really enjoyed spending time with AJ and seeing how much bigger he looks in person now. AJ even showed off his new skill of kicking this toy and making the music play. He was really getting into it!

I took this picture this morning after he ate his breakfast bottle. He was very serious this morning, not many smiles which is strange for him but he was "focussing" on something else. His hair looks extra red here - I think it's partly because he has cradle cap and I just put oil on his head and brushed it with a toothbrush - so his scalp is extra red.

AJ goes to the doctors on Tuesday for his 4 month check up. He's not actually 4 months old til 11/13 so we're a couple days early. I expect that he will be over 12 lbs now. He is looking, and feeling, so much chunkier, especially this past week! I will be sure to let you know how his appointment goes.
