Alex had his 2 month doc appt this morning. He is continuing to put on weight, although he wasn't as much as I was thinking/hoping. He weighs 9lbs 2oz and is 21" long. The doc seemed happy with his growth and development, despite still being in the 5th percentile. He's just a little guy, I guess. He may be small, but he is healthy and doing great, so that is what is important!
He had to get his 2 month immunizations today. That was awful, hearing him cry like that! I got all teary-eyed too, picked him up as soon as I could (he got blood all on my cute pink shirt!), and he calmed down really quickly with his Mommy's hugs and kisses. PHEW! Hopefully he won't have any reactions.
Seem strange that he doesn't have to go back now until he's 4 months old. I keep trying to guess much he will weigh so that I know what size clothes to get him for specific holidays(like Halloween, Christmas, etc). He still fits in newborn clothes, but has started to wear 0-3months although most of that stuff is still big, especially the bottoms.
OK, that's all for today. Gotta go check on Mr. Man ;-)

did you know that when CJ was BORN she weighed 9 lbs 2 oz and was 21 1/2 inches!!! So basically i gave birth to the size child you have at age 2 months! :)
those first shots suck. i started crying the first time they put CJ on the scales at the dr.'s office because it made her cry.
