He played on his activity mat for the first time a few days ago. He was noticing the toys hanging above him and even batting at them. So smart!
We spent a lot of time this week with Jay's dad and step-mom b/c they are moving to Florida today. We will miss them a lot! But they bought us a webcam so that they can see Alex live! Here's some pictures from their house here:
We also visited with some of Alex's cousins this weekend. We always try to take pictures of Alex and his cousin Aidan together so that we can see how they both grow together. Aidan is still so much bigger but Alex is catching up! Soon they will be playing with each other! Notice Aidan's onesie - I bought that for him!

Finally, I have been trying to catch one of his "gas smiles" for a picture (he hasn't had a REAL smile yet) but it's hard to do since they only last a few seconds. Here is the best one I have gotten so far. We can't wait for him to really smile!

ha ha that playmat looks very familiar! Tessa loved the monkey on it, and she liked to eat the giraffe's legs. Did you know that the elephant vibrates if you pull the cord? It took me months to realize that. Anyway, this post is random. I am happy you are updating more often. He IS getting big and chunky - love it.
