Welcome to the new rollercoaster......

We were told this morning that we were not selected by the birth parents. I knew as soon as I heard our SW's voice on the phone. Sorta brings me back to all the "I'm sorry, your beta is negative" calls while we were doing fertilty treatments TTC.

It's disappointing, but I know that this was not our baby. And I have faith that the right situation will find us and our baby will come home to us. I just hope and pray that we don't have to ride this rollercoaster too many more times.

Yesterday gave us a taste of what it'll be like when we finally get a GOOD call. It felt so wonderful to be that excited. It was the closest we've ever gotten to being parents.

Our time to be parents will come.......

Sorry Alison!~ There is no easy way to go through this process. I just read your message on the STAR board.Believe me, you will know why you waited for your baby when your placement happens.:)We were profiled about 10 times, and when Jacob was placed with us it all made sense. Hang in there. It WILL happen. You two are such a cute couple.;)

A roller coaster indeed! I am sorry it wasn't the outcome you were hoping for. But hang in there. Someday, all of this will make sense.

Alison...I'm so sorry this didn't have the outcome you have been hoping for. Keep believing...your baby IS out there, and when the time comes for you to meet him or her it will be the PERFECT moment in your lives!!! (((HUGS)))

I Just read your post on the star board. Sorry you're going through this. I don't know how many times my husband and I were profiled, but there were at least 3 I know of that we weren't chosen for. Just when I thought it would never happen, we got "the call". It's not always an easy process, but it will happen for you too.

I know how hard this process is but believe that it will happen! When you are holding the child that was meant to be yours you will think to yourself that you are glad this didn't pan out. Looking at my 13 month old son, I can honestly say that about infertility also! Hang in there!
