Adoption STAR get-together

This weekend we hosted a get-together for some of the Rochester area families who have adopted through STAR. It is really important to us that we stay connected with our STAR family so that Alex can know others who have been adopted and to maintain that support through the years. There is definitely something to be said about having a house filled with adoptive families. It is really such a wonderful feeling to know that each of us have become families through the miraculous gift of adoption.

Here are our first guests with Alex. The boys are only 1-2 months older than Alex. Aren't the 3 of them just so cute?! This picture doesn't show it well, but Alex looked like such a peanut next to them! He is getting bigger though - yesterday at the doc's he weighed 14 lbs 4 oz!!!!

It was quite difficult to get all 10 kids to cooperate for a group picture, but we tried anyways. Here is a pic of MOST of the kids at the party. It will be fun to see how they grow up through the years.
